Coming home

"It’s a funny thing coming home. Nothing changes. Everything looks the same, feels the same, even smells the same. And then suddenly you realize what’s changed, is you."
From the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons. And yes, i agree with this quote. It's really funny coming home. It's weird. Home. Where people are really busy with making a career. To buy more stuff. Where people first have to check their agenda before they can meet you. Even though you have been abroad for almost 2 years. Where you could go to the toilet blindfolded, because the toilets in Holland are so clean. Where your own city becomes a village if you compare it with India. Where your friends have become mothers and fathers, bought big houses and got a better job with a higher salary. At home you can enjoy drinking tapwater. It's so clear, the water! Enjoy your house, sitting on your own comfortable couch. Your clothes which you didn't bring on your trip. (why do i possess 5 pairs of black trousers?!) And then you think about all those sweet poor people from your travels. They are surviving every single day. All those memories. Every day was a new adventure. Your head is full. Full of beautiful memories. Cherish this, all those memories. You will never forget them. I feel very rich in my head with it!
