Back home, I never thought about diving. But when we were in Malaysia, there was suddenly the oppurtunity to learn to dive. So exciting! Four days in a row we followed lessons, and we practised in the beautiful sea. The water was almost like a swimmingpool, it was so clear! We had to examine the divebooks as well. The moment you go underwater with your divesuit is quite extraordinary. It's not possible, is it. Breath under water?! A new world right in front of your eyes. A beautiful world under water. There is so much to see, so beautiful! At first you might think it's not really your thing, and that you'll never learn how to do it. But in the end you'll get the certificate, and then you can go and do fundives in the whole world! It's was very cheap to learn it in Malaysia, we paid about 175 euro for the basic course at Perhentian Island. In Holland you'll pay around 400 euro, so if you get the chance to learn it, please try. Important is to choose a save, good diveschool, from PADI for example. For more info about the destination you can have a look at:
