When you're traveling you'll need a hairdresser at a certain moment. Then it would be a nice idea to go to the academies for hairdressers, like i did in Kuala Lumpur. There is a Toni&Guy Academy, where you can have your hair cut for free! It's a really nice and cool experience, but don't go there if you're in a hurry, because it will take a lot of time. That's because the students get loads of advice from the teacher. I was really happy when i walked out of there, so you should definitely give it a try!
